Folklore To Fork In Minnesota | Bizarre Foods With Andrew Zimmern

Andrew discovers the larger than life logger, Paul Bunyan and the beloved foods along his trail in northern Minnesota. Andrew starts his lumberjack adventure in Bemidji, the town that has built itself up around the legend. Paul Bunyan fanatic Julia Dancker takes Andrew to a local bakery, where they wet their pallets with Babe the Blue Ox truffles and the Bunyan Donut, which is far too big for a plate! He then joins 78-year-old Dave Stadler for some ax throwing and Crock-Pot elk. After eating and warming up their ax throwing arms, Andrew and Dave head out to participate in a lumberjack festival! Joined by lumberjack athletes Samantha Hadley and Adam LaSalle, they take in the lumberjack arts and festival foods. After winning a round of ax throwing and losing a round in the handsaw contest, Andrew heads over to Samantha and Adam's to see them practice their log-rolling skills and to eat some iconic foods of the area -- bratwurst and wild rice.
